aug 1, 2012 public copy wt, pages 24-25 feature a make-belief boy named, caleb, who writes a letter to his sick friend.. i recall in the introduction of the video (that is being released at this year's convention) it is said that this vid is just a sampling of what they have been working on.. seeing this 'caleb' character in the magazine made me wonder if the wt is trying to produce a mascot for children of jws.

No, he’s just the “perfect” little example all the poor witless children will be forced to try and live up to, but can't.
This way the parents and congregation can look down their noses and say, "you're nothing like good little Caleb."

it`s a well known fact that liars sooner or later get caught up in their own deceit .initially you can get away with a few white lies,but if you keep on with these lies it`s very hard to keep track of them and you start to contradict yourself , and eventually you get caught out .jehovah`s witnesses have got away with it for a very long time,however with the advent of the internet it is very easy to find out what was published beforehand , and the watchtower society being a proficient publishing organization, their is much we can draw on.. by their own words they condemn themselves.

This falls under the rule of, you can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all the people all the time.
Sooner or later their deceit will catch up to them when they can no longer find anyone to fool.
Unfortunately I think it will be later rather than sooner.
just came across this post, where a disfellowshipped blogger posted the letter from his witness mother in which she cuts off the relationship between them.
although i was the one to slam the door and cut off communication with my viper of a mother, my heart goes out to this guy - it's to their shame that the witnesses allow their religion to do this to family..

My mom and I were talking about the shunning policy again the other day and I asked her "Who did Jesus hang out with? Tax collectors, thieves and whores right? And did Jesus treat anyone like garbage; even when he knew they were an unrepentant sinner on an unbeliever?"
She said, "No, I guess you have a point, but" and then proceeded to spout off some wash-towel bullshit about why the policy is good and how it works.
I then said, "I already know that, but if we are supposed to imitate Jesus, where does his humility and human decency come in on this equation? And if you really believe you are supposed to imitate him, then how can you treat ANYONE badly if you know he didn't?
She replied, "I don't know" under her breath and then said "enough about this" and quickly changed the subject.
Judging form her facial expressions and body language she was quite uncomfortable with the conversation, however I could tell that her wheels and cogs were spinning.
oddly, the 'mother' organization of jw's, basically just shrugs it's collective shoulders when "one of their own".
little children are abused and raped .......... oh yeah, they take the phone call from elders who are so commanded to report to them.. .
but are they alarmed and concerned about the children in their care?.
We should all have such strong emotion and reactions to the abuse of a child.

i ask this based on a couple thougts, we all know the borgs tough stance on what they call higher education they would have you believe on can get by on just reading wtchtwr and awk and a g.e.d but look at all the lawyers they have and engineers for quick builds they utilize alot of highly educated people to protect their assets they dont have just a highschool education.
keep in mind they have no clue where are all christ brothers the rest of annointed the admitted they have no network to keep tract and obviously no interest but they boast about all the buildings and printing presses they have!
and with this recent pedephile situation would it not be in borgs best interest to have educated leaders or elders educated in counseling?
They haven't invested anything in their followers/members. You are expected to be responsible for education, training, learning, reaching out and advancing; then when you do these things on your own time and dime they'll use you, both as a tool and like a tool.
The only effort they put forth is how to keep the corporation going/alive and how to bleed every last penny from your sorry unworthy ass.

the wtbts, the corporations, the pr staff in brooklyn / patterson gave no official comment about the child abuse case.. only the lawyer of the "local congregation" gave some remarks.. humiliating for the victims and also for fellow believers with a conciense and good hart.
they only can questioning why the wtbts is hiding..
What makes you think they would say anything?
Their history has shown nothing but silence on matters that do not paint them in a positive light.
Plus making any sort of public announcement would inform all witlesses, especially one's who had no clue what was going on, that something negative happened to it's imperviously perfect borganization; in other words a public statement might crack the fragile eggshell the $ociety has around it’s believers.
these days i have strong feelings about the recent events.
i mean the child abuse case.
the context of the case makes me sure that our believe is not the truth.

For me every step they take is farther and farther from any real truth.
Every small, and large, thing that happens reassures me they are not the truth.
im predicting a loss in both numbers in the us and western countries with significant drop in hours preached particularly in the usa.. commetns ?
